CLIL is an approach to teaching where subjects are taught in a foreign language (English). The goal is to learn both the subject content and the language simultaneously. It's not just about
learning about something in English; it's about doing something with English.
Intrainship provides a rich, real-world context for language learning. Students are using English to communicate with mentors, collaborate with team members, conduct research, and present their work. Just like they would in a real job.
Learning English through a practical, career-focused subject like finance, marketing or fashion, is highly motivating for EFL students. They see the direct relevance of their language skills to
their future goals.
With the CLIL method, focus on skills (such as employability) or content is increased. Students will feel challenged as if they can 'learn more from the lesson'.
CLIL encourages active learning and skill development. Students aren't just passively
absorbing information; they're actively using English to solve problems, create presentations,
and communicate their ideas.
