Why focus on skills?

21st Century skills are 12 abilities that we believe today’s students need to succeed in their careers during the ‘Information Age’. While these skills have always been important, they have become essential in a worldwide market that is evolving at an unprecedented speed.

At the core of future work and employability is each person’s ability to adapt to change.  Any industry is capable of changing at a moment’s notice. Industries are now regularly disrupted with new ideas and methodologies. Those industries that haven’t been disrupted aren’t immune; they just haven’t been disrupted yet!

By developing your 21st Century skills, you will develop the adaptive qualities that you need to keep up with a work environment that’s constantly evolving.
